Comprehensive, expert care for children’s digestive health.
At Queensland Children’s Gastroenterology, we understand how unsettling it can be when your child experiences ongoing tummy pain, constipation, or feeding issues. Led by Dr Emma McIntyre and supported by Dr Zubin Grover, our team provides expert paediatric gastroenterology care that’s not only medically sound but genuinely family-focused.
Dr Emma McIntyre consults in-person at our South Brisbane clinic on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, and alternate Friday mornings.
Dr Zubin Grover offers Telehealth appointments on Tuesdays, providing an excellent option for families seeking earlier consultations.
We are a private billing practice and accept referrals from both GPs and specialists.
Dr Emma McIntyre has been working as a paediatric gastroenterologist for 20 years and understands the importance of providing child and family-focused care. She is equally experienced in treating both short-term gastrointestinal issues and more chronic conditions requiring life-long management, and understands the impact they can have on a child’s growth and development, as well as their later adult life.
Dr Grover offers a global clinical perspective, having worked across India, the UK, Australia, and Canada. Dr Grover brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and an open-minded, holistic approach to patient-centred care, gained from experience across diverse health systems.
Together, they offer a flexible combination of in-person and Telehealth appointments, ensuring that families get the care they need — when and how it suits them best.
Through careful treatment strategies and a multi-disciplinary approach, Dr McIntyre and Dr Grover focus on providing high-quality care in the short-term and enhanced outcomes in the long-term. The clinic facilities and staff are child-friendly, providing a full range of paediatric gastroenterology services including outpatient consultations and inpatient care, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and insertion of feeding tubes.
